Ghoul Box / Creepy Text Generator
Creepy Text Generator
Type anything. Get it back possessed: zalgo glitch, blackletter, dripping, upside-down and a crypt full of horror fonts. Tap Copy and paste it into your bio, username, posts or Discord.
⚠ Some styles add invisible combining marks, so they are much longer than they look. Instagram bios allow 150 characters and X posts 280 (X counts some symbols and emoji as 2), so check the count on each style.
Everything happens in your browser. Your text is only put in a link if you tap Copy Link or 𝕏 Post.
How to use the creepy text generator
Type or paste your text in the box. Every style updates instantly as you type. Tap Copy next to the one you want, then paste it anywhere that accepts text: an Instagram or TikTok bio, an X post, a Discord name or server, a gaming username, or a group chat. Copy All Styles grabs the whole list at once so you can compare them in your notes.
What is zalgo text?
Zalgo text (also called glitch text or cursed text) piles Unicode combining marks above, through and below each letter so the words look like they are melting or possessed. Pick Low for a subtle haunting, Medium for proper creepy, or Possessed for full horror-movie static. Tap Re-glitch for a new random pattern.
Is this a real horror font?
Not exactly, and that is the trick. Fonts don't travel when you copy and paste, but Unicode characters do. This tool swaps your letters for Unicode lookalikes (mathematical Fraktur, script, double-struck, circled and full-width letters, Cyrillic lookalikes and combining marks), so your horror font copy and paste works on almost any app without installing anything.
Why do some styles show boxes or look different?
Each device draws Unicode with its own fonts. Older Android phones and older Windows versions may show empty boxes for rare characters like negative bubbles or ⛧, and some sites strip or clip combining marks. Each style lists where it can be shaky. If one looks wrong, try another.
Why is my text suddenly too long?
Zalgo, dripping, strikethrough and slashed text add invisible marks to every letter, so a 10-letter name can become 50+ characters. Every style shows its real character count and warns when it is over the Instagram bio (150) or X post (280) limit.
Is fancy text accessible?
Screen readers often read styled Unicode letter by letter or skip it. Use creepy text for flair, like a name or a headline, and keep important info in plain text.
